1. Prevent Unauthorized Transactions: Update Your Contact Information: Ensure your mobile number and email ID are current with us. Securities Margin Requirements: Pledge for Margin: Stock Brokers can only accept securities as margin through pledges in the depository system starting September 1, 2020. Update Contact Information: Ensure your mobile number and email ID are updated with your stock broker/depository participant to receive OTPs directly from the depository for pledge creation. Margin Payment: Pay 20% of the transaction value upfront to trade in the cash market segment. Check Your Holdings: Regularly review your Securities/MFs/Bonds in the consolidated account statement from NSDL/CDSL. 3. E-Voting Participation: Update Email ID: Ensure your email ID is updated in your demat account to participate in the e-voting process for all listed entities in which you hold shares. This avoids the need to register with each e-voting service provider. 4. Mandatory KYC Updates: Update by September 30, 2021: To prevent account deactivation, ensure your KYC details are up-to-date: Name Complete Address (including PIN) PAN Valid Mobile Number Valid Email ID Income Details/Range 5.
