Bharat Heavy Electricals approved Rs 500 crore investment for Haridwar thermal and nuclear set facilities

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited announced that its board of directors approved a capital investment proposal of approximately Rs 500 crore for additional facilities to manufacture thermal and nuclear sets at HEEP-Haridwar Unit, and the merger of Electrical Machines Repair Plant (EMRP), Mumbai and Electronics Division (EDN), Bengaluru into a single unit with EDN as the merged entity, effective November 1, 2026.
