											What's So Interesting About Boat?
Boat, co-founded in 2016 by Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta and having its headquarters in New Delhi has a really interesting backstory to it. So, Aman Gupta had a previous experience working in JBL and during his time there, he found out that there was a gap in India’s Audio Market for cheap, durable and trendy audio products. That's when Boat started. Initially, the company started by manufacturing mobile charging cables, which helped it gain a deeper understanding of consumer electronics manufacturing and distribution networks in the country. Boat leveraged most of its sales through E-commerce Giants like Amazon and Flipkart. Along with bold advertising, collaborations with celebrities and Influencers and designing products that appealed to the youth of India, Boat has come a long way in the consumer electronics and Audio technology industry.

Boat is the best-known audio wearables brand in India and the second-largest wearables brand in the world by sales. This shows that the market is ever-growing and there is large demand for audio devices like headphones, speakers and earphones.
